Common
Knowledge
2015

Common knowledge is a study  at  the lifespan of facts and  the absorption of the immense volume of available data and information by the human thinking mechanism.

The average lifespan of a fact is seven years.

The work has been built on  images  collected from old, outdated encyclopedias, depicting  people in spaces/situations of learning and working that do not exist anymore, being taught facts and using methods that are not necessarily still considered correct.

These are combined with random informational imagery picked from the web, the ambiguous source of all information.

The result is a cerebral landscape of new and dying facts and situations , information  and imagery, with faceless inhabitants of encyclopedic pages, all-knowing and forever outdated.
